William Gendreau Obituary

William H. Gendreau Dracut, Honeywell retiree, Air Force vet; 74 DRACUT William Henry Gendreau, of Dracut, MA, passed away on July 14th, in Boston, after a period of declining health. He was born in Dracut, MA, Jan. 2, 1934, the son of the late Emil and Blache of Dracut. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and the Korean Conflict. He worked at Honeywell in Lawrence for 24 years, as a Customer Service Representative before retiring. He was a active member of the Dracut Senior Center, and a avid sports fan and loved the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He is survived by one brother, Ronald Gendreau of Pompano Beach, FL; three sisters, Barbara Coakley of Delray Beach, FL, Sharlette Thibodeau and Madeline Thomas of Dracut, and Pauline Meal (deceased in 1998). He had four children, two sons and two daughters, William and Ronald Gendreau of California, Sheila and Michelle Gendreau. He also left many nieces and nephews. His companion for 29 years was the former Alice Kearney of Dracut, along with her three sons, Kenneth, Michael and Joseph, two daughters, June McDermott and Janice DeBottis; and a devoted friend for three years was Frieda Greathead, also of Dracut. GENDREAU Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 26 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA.
