Marie Trudel Obituary

Marie A. 'Mary' Trudel lived in Dracut for many years; 91 DRACUT Marie A. "Mary" (Poirier) (Marshall) Trudel, 91, a resident of D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell, and former longtime resident of Dracut, died Wednesday, July 16th, at Saints Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick Marshall, and the late Raymond Trudel. She was born in Dover, NH, on April 27, 1917, and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Albina (LaRoche) Poirier. She received her education in Dracut schools. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Trudel was employed for 14 years as a housekeeper at Lowell General Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, traveling, and playing cards. She was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at St. Therese Church in Dracut. She is survived by a son-in-law, John Hamilton of Westford; a stepson, Richard Trudel of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren, John Hamilton Jr. and his wife, Dana of High Point, NC, Kathleen McDermott and her husband, Steven of Concord, NH, Richard Hamilton and his wife, Tracey of Clemmons, NC, and Steven Hamilton and his wife, Christina of Chelmsford; 11 great-grandchildren, Danielle Hamilton, Ashley Hamilton, Trey Hamilton, Shelby Hamilton, Meghan McDermott, Alex Hamilton, Christian McDermott, Amanda McDermott, Allyson Hamilton, Danika Hamilton, and Marissa Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Theresa Hamilton; the stepmother of the late Robert Trudel; and the sister of the late Madelein Bibeau, Yvonne Brown, and Irene (Gauthier) Menard. TRUDEL Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Sunday from 4 until 6 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 10 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at St. Therese Church in Dracut.
