John Jusczak Obituary

John L. Jusczak lifelong Dracut resident, WWII vet; 86 DRACUT John L. Jusczak, 86, a lifelong Dracut resident, died Friday morning, in the Fairhaven Nursing Care Center in Lowell. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Grace P. (Ziemba) Jusczak of Dracut. Born in Dracut, on January 17, 1922, he was the son of the late Ignace and Mary (Gibadlo) Jusczak. He received his education in the Dracut school system. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during World War II, as a Technician 5th Class in the Army of the Untied States seeing action overseas. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Jusczak had been employed as a machinist by Astro Dynamics in Woburn. Earlier in his career, he was employed as a carpenter by the former City Wide Realty in Lowell. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Lowell. He was a member of the Polish American Veterans Club in Lowell. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, carpentry, and was an all around handy man. In addition ot his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Judy Hopkins and her husband, Thomas of Dracut, and Jane Gross of Billerica; one son, John F. Jusczak and his wife, Patricia of Candia, NH; one granddaughter, Laurie Falter and her husband, Mitchell of Burke, VA; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Josephine Silva, Jennie Sefsick, Mildred Bason, Stella Niemasczyk, Eleanor Stefanik, and Walter, Mitchell, Stanley and Thaddeus Jusczak. JUSCZAK Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, on Sunday from 2 until 5 PM. His Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at 11:30 A.M. in St. Michael's Church, Lowell. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in his name to the Dracut Fire Department Local 2586, 488 Pleasant St., Dracut, MA 01826. Dear Gracie,
We are very sad to learn of John's passing. You and John are the best neighbors anyone could ask for. We will miss him. Our families have known each other for such a long time. So Sorry to hear of John's passing. I have delivered John and Grace's mail for over 25 years. They were always working together in the yard and had beautiful flowers. I always enjoyed talking to John and the pride they took in the up keep of thier home. I will miss John. Grace if there is anything I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask.
