To family and close friends of Charlie,
I am sorry that I was unable to attend the services, but wanted to take the opportunity to send some words. I was Charlie's Barber/friend for over 20 years and was stunned and saddend to hear of his passing. Thoughts of him will always bring a smile. I always appreciated his great sense of humor and his incredible courage during his brief, though brave battle with his illness. Never complaining, making light of things and always able to laugh and forge on. I will greatly miss your presence Sir Charles.....
