Jill and family,
I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I know how it is to lose a parent. I hope you know in your heart that he is with your wonderful mom now and that should hopefully comfort you all. I remember your dad always being so willing to give us a ride to rollerskating. :-) he also would easily hand you money when you needed it. I will miss him. My deepest sympathies. Take care.

Pa, I know that we weren't really close as I was growing up, but these past few years I am glad that we have gotten so close. We got to truely know each other. I really enjoyed our lunches out together, sunday dinners (when I wondered where you put all the food that we fed you), our frequent visits to dunkin' donuts (for a plain donut and a small coffee) just to kill some time and I always loved your jokes about not being able to get in/out of my little car.
I wanted to thank you for all of your kind words these past few years and all of your support throughout my college and graduate career. I treasured our time together more than you will ever know. Your sense of humor was priceless and you really knew how to make me smile.

Even though I will miss our time together, I know that you are in a better place with Meme and that you are happy there. I know that you are now the guardian angel sitting on my shoulder with meme. I love you very much and I will miss you!!

Dad, thank you for being the best Dad you knew how to be, for all your hard work supporting eight children. When Mom was sick before she passed on, you were her pillar of strength and thats when I realized what a compassionate, kind and giving person you are. I've had the pleasure of knowing in a different "light". Its been fun having you every Sunday for our family dinners, it won't be the same. It's been fun traveling with you, to Ohio, Puerto Rico and LaRomana, we even got you in to water! You'll be sadly missed at all our Holiday gatherings, and every day living. Your daughter, Karin (I love you)!
