Dorothy M. Hamel

Dorothy M. Hamel formerly of Lowell; 83 JUNO BEACH, FL Dorothy M. Hamel, age 83, of Juno Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at The Waterford Health Center. Mrs. Hamel has resided in the area for the past 20 years coming from Lowell, MA. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School and Bradshaw Business School, both in Massachusetts. Mrs. Hamel was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church, and enjoyed playing golf, shuffleboard, swimming, and traveling. Mrs. Hamel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving husband of 59½ years, J. Robert; three children, Margaret Reynolds of Palm Beach Gardens, Mark (Penny) Hamel of Palm Beach Gardens, and Susan Bernier of North Palm Beach; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Robert, Lisa, and Julie; and one-great-granddaughter, Chelsea. HAMEL A visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M., Monday, July 28, 2008 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter, FL. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Tequesta, FL. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
