Marie Willard Obituary

Marie E. Willard lived in Pepperell for four decades; 79 PEPPERELL Marie E. Willard, of Pepperell, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. She was born June 19, 1929 in RossDorf, Germany daughter of the late Heinrich and Katharina (Ecker) Hamm, and was the wife of the late Harry C. Willard who died in 1990. She spent her early life in Germany before coming to the United States in 1954. She was a resident of the Harvard and Fort Devens area before moving to Pepperell in 1963. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Continental Can in Merrimack, New Hampshire in the Research & Development Division. She is survived by her daughter, Elfriede "Elfie" Parker and her husband, Dana of Pepperell along with four grandchildren, Dana W. Parker, Jr. and his wife, Ann of Georgia, Marion Parker of Pepperell, Michael Parker of Fitchburg, and Thomas Parker and his wife, Aimee of Pepperell along with nine great-grand-children, Steven Parker, Austin Kersey and Andrew Parker of Georgia; Steven Hoffman and Nathan Mullaney of Pepperell, MA; Brandon, Jacob and Lilah Parker of Fitchburg, MA, and Autumn Parker of Pepperell, MA. She was also the sister of Harold Hamm of Germany, and the late Alexander Thiele of Germany. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. WILLARD of Pepperell, July 24, 2008, Marie E. Willard. A Memorial service will take place August 4, 2008 at the HAMILTON-MCGAFFIGAN Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113), Pepperell at 7 P.M. A visitation will take place 4-7 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
