Shirley Rowe Obituary

Shirley Rowe lived in the Gr. Lowell area, homemaker; 81 HOLLIS, NH Shirley (Fuller) Rowe, 81, of Hollis, NH, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at her home, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas J. Rowe who died in 1994. A daughter of the late Arlington and the late Evelyn (Garland) Fuller, she was born January 20, 1927, in Dracut and educated in the local schools. Closest in Shirley's heart was her love and devotion for her family. Her other passions throughout her life were her pets, handmade crafts, cake decorating, snow sledding with her family, taking short trips in her travel trailer, and ballroom dancing. She formerly resided in Dracut, Chelmsford, Littleton earlier in her life before residing in Tyngsboro for nearly 20 years. She later resided in Nashua, NH for 18 years before moving to Hollis, NH, where she resided for the past six years. Shirley was a dedicated homemaker, yet still had the time to decorate cakes for special occasions for her friends, family and neighbors. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and John Budenas of Townsend; her son, Keith D. Rowe of Hudson, NH; and her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Elizabeth Rowe of Merrimack, NH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jason, Johnny, Keith Jr., Laura, Phyllis, and Rose; and eight great-grandchildren, Aaron, Brian, Connor, Heaven, JJ, Jeffrey, John, and Kayla. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Earl Frappier; her sister-in-law, Myrtle Fuller; and her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Glenda Fuller. She was also the sister of the late Edward Fuller, and the late Kenneth Fuller. ROWE YOU ARE INVITED TO HER CALLING HOURS 4 UNTIL 8 P.M. ON SATURDAY. ON MONDAY MORNING, HER FUNERAL WILL BEGIN AT 8 A.M. AT THE MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL (978 OR 800) 458-6816.
