Roland
I have been thinking about you and your family and praying that God is helping you through what is a very difficult time for all of you. I believe in my heart that God and Joan will give you all the strength you need. And the love you all have for each other will get you through your first Holiday Season. Joan is now at peace and is pain free. She will continue to help guide you, your children, and grandchildren throughout your lives. My prayers will always be with you.

It's difficult for me to find to words to express my sadness at Joans passing.

I have many great memories of Joan and the Martin family. I spent so much time at the house on Pawtucket St with Cheryl, I often thought of Joan as my second mother. I always admired her strength, poise and kindness.

One of my biggest regrets is losing contact with the people who are important to me. I am thankful that I was able to reconnect and be there when it mattered the most.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
