Cheryl Hastings Obituary

Cheryl A. Hastings formerly of Pepperell; 51 FITCHBURG Cheryl Ann (Straitiff) Hastings, of Fitchburg, and formerly of Pepperell, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at UMASS Medical Center, Worcester. She was born in Groton on March 11, 1957, the daughter of the late Daniel B. Straitiff and Katherine E. (Stone) Alix. Cheryl is survived by two sons, Charles Armstrong and his fiancée, Melanie Russell of Fitchburg, and Brian Armstrong of Ashby; four sisters, Danette L. (Straitiff) Miller of Pepperell, Patricia J. Straitiff of Groton, Claudette Alix of Pepperell, and Claire A. Alix of Royalston, MA. Cheryl is also survived by twin grandchildren, Jeremy and Brooklyn of Fitchburg; as well as many nieces and nephews. HASTINGS Calling Hours will be on August 18, 2008 at Marchand Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St, Pepperell, MA from 5 p.m. 7 p.m.
