Hello Rathbun family,
After reviewing other guest book entries I can see that I was not the only recipient of Shirley's amazing talent for finding family members. The term 'powerhouse' would not adequately describe the energy, entusiasm and inspiration of this incredible researcher. We called her 'Kiprosoff' because, like the goalie who always gave you a chance to win, if there was a record, Shirley always seemed able to find it. I lamented being called to work with the youth of our church because of the time it would take away from our family research... but during this time Shirley was like a multitude of researchers accomplishing what I never could have found. Shirley was a 'gift' from the Lord. Shirley, our gratitude will be eternal. Many will rise up to call you blessed for your countless service projects. You are beloved.

Thank you so very much for sharing Shirley's life on earth allowing her to delve into genealogical research. Her work will help the present and future researchers. Her legacy lives on as does the memory of her in your lives. Now her plans on earth are done and the angels have opened their wings to embrace her.
