Maria Mauriello Obituary

Maria J. Mauriello Wilmington school cafeteria retiree; 75 WILMINGTON Mrs. Maria Julia (VanKeymeulen) Mauriello, age 75, of Wilmington, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, at the Winchester Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Maria was born on Oct. 5, 1932, in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, she was the daughter of Melanie (Wynant) VanKeymeulen of Wilmington and the late Victor VanKeymeulen. Maria grew up in Belgium, and moved to the United States when she was 18 years old. She lived in Medford from 1950 until 1963 when she and her husband moved to Burlington for a few years. Her family then moved to Wilmington and have been residents for over 40 years. Prior to retirement, Maria worked at the Shawsheen School in Wilmington for over 30 years, retiring as the Manager of the Cafeteria. She was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, and cruising with her family. Maria was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She loved her family dearly and was very proud of all their accomplishments. Maria is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank Mauriello of Wilmington; her sons and daugthters-in-law, Stephen & Karen Mauriello, and Robert & Darlene Mauriello, all of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Bobby Mauriello & Amanda Mauriello, both of Wilmington, Susan Verdonck & her husband, Scott of Goffstown, NH, Gerald Lemieux, Jr. of Orange, CA; and great-grandson, Samuel Verdonck; her sisters, Jeannine Sorrenti & her husband, Donald of Whitman, and Rosette LoGuidice & her husband, Domenic of Peabody. Maria is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. MAURIELLO Maria J. (VanKeymeulen), age 75, of Wilmington, August 17, 2008. Beloved wife of 53 years of Frank Mauriello. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 87 Church St., Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, August 19th at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington from 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations in Maria's name may be made to the Wilmington United Methodist Church or to the Winchester Hospital, c/o Development Office, 41 Highland Ave., Winchester, MA 01890.

I miss you so much,and every thing remind me constantly of you.I am so thankfull we had fifty three years together, and honey it was the best of my lifetime.
