So sad to see you go. Should have kept in touch with you more often. One has their own personal problems which get in the way and friends from the past sometimes fall by the wayside but there was something about you that was infectious. Being a nostalgic person brings back memories from the past from the days at Bishop Makham when I first met you and Sharon and I believe your sister Judy and mother and grandmother and your good friend Linda whom is now gone and when you lived at Plum Island and we went to visit you and if it wer,nt for you none of us would be able to dance at the great Commodore Ballroom in Lowell as you taught us the latest dances that allowed us to compete for the best "chicks" and I also remember the times you guys lived in the Acre while you attended Essex Community College and the Christmas cards that were always welcomed. They'll always be a pleasant memory in my mind for you.

Words escape how to convey the amazing person Dottie was ~ the 1 thing I keep thinking of and hearing is Dottie's laughter! I will forever hear it ring in my ears, it was contangious and one of the most wonderful sounds I've ever heard.

I feel blessed I have so many memories of fun tmes with Dottie ~ St Patrick's Day in Lowell, Halloween, Dotties reaction to the "huge" bugs in McDuffee's offices, Tarrot card parties at her house, amazing times at the beach, shopping, wrapping parties at Christmas, nights at the 99's, her unending help in the planning of my wedding ~ it was not uncommon for me to leave Dottie with my sides hurting, from laughing so much!

The 1-2 hour chats we would have on the phone in the last 6 years since I moved overseas ~ I remember one night we spent almost 3 hours on the phone together, each finishing a bottle of wine ~ the magic of Dottie ~ even with 10,000 miles between us, the fun & the love was the same.

I have felt every inch of the distance these last months and wish so much we could have hugged just 1 more time ~ our love for you will never end and I carry your memory in my heart always ~ Thank you for being my friend, for allowing me to share in your life for a brief 20 years ~ I am a better person for knowing you and we will never forget your kindness.

I love you with all my heart Dottie, rest in peace my dear friend ~

Sharon, Linda, Allan, Melissa & Ashley ~ I am so very sorry, please know we send you all our love through this very sad time.

There are no words to express the sorrow I feel that this world has lost one of it's brightest personalities. Dottie has been a close friend of my family for almost as long as I have been alive.

I remember her as office manager at Roche Insurance. She took me on my first wild ride after I hit my drinking age. Never before or since have I experienced the sensation of a car that is tilted when two of its wheels are on the curb!

Wine at her house, tarrot readings, her laughter and her pure sweetness. Last time I saw her, was before her dx. Even after 30 years, she was always the same with her ready laughter and her big "Oh No!" right before she'd let loose with her biggest laugh. You always felt better when Dottie was around.

She'll never be gone. She's just shaking up the next dimension! Gotta get them all straightened out to get them ready for the rest of us!

Linda, I wish you, Sharon and all your family and Dottie's friends - Peace.

Dottie,
You had the heartiest laugh, and the best jokes. I will remember all of the best times with you and Linda. You were a rock when each of us needed your support, and a friend who listened. You will be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts go out to your family and to your closest friend, Linda.
