Sandra C. Ducharme of Murrieta, CA; 67 Murrieta, CA Sandra C. (Halliday) Ducharme (Sandy), 67, passed away August 23, 2008 at home in Murrieta, CA. Sandy was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada on August 10, 1941. She moved to the U.S. in her twenties and became a U.S. citizen in 1999. Sandy graduated with honors from Missouri Western with dual degrees in finance and computer science. She enjoyed an early career as a Lab Tech followed by a long career in finance. She retired from Newell Rubbermaid as V.P. of finance in 1999. She is survived by Don, her loving husband of 25 years, her daughter Faith Halter and her husband Marty of Savannah, MO, 3 grandchildren, Dan Leach and his wife Amber of St. Joseph, MO, Amanda and Jenny Halter of Savannah, MO and her sister Leona Quennell of Hattiesburg, LA. DUCHARME No services are planned. Inurnment will be private. It was Sandy's wish to be cremated and her ashes scattered at sea. There will be a private family service at sea to celebrate her life at a place held dear to her.
