Simone T. Peloquin

Simone T. Peloquin of Nashua; 79 NASHUA Simone Theresa Peloquin, 79, of Nashua, died Monday evening, August 25, 2008 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, following a brief illness. A resident of Nashua for the past 30 years, Mrs. Peloquin was born in Dracut, MA on December 16, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Brunnelle) Lozeau. During her youth, Simone made her home in Dracut and Lowell, MA. She attended St. Louis parochial school and Lowell public schools. A homemaker to her family, Simone also took care of many children for several Nashua families. She took pride in her children and grandchildren and enjoyed cross word puzzles and attending yard sales. Simone was the widow of Omer G. Peloquin, whom she married on April 3, 1948. They shared 38 years together before his death on May 15, 1986. Mrs. Peloquin was also predeceased by a sister, Blanche Bograkos. Members of her family include her significant other of 12 years, Frank G. Randall; a son, Richard R. Peloquin and his fiancée, Patricia Morrell of Nashua; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lorraine L. and John Ferreira, Jr. of Tewksbury, MA and Michelle and James E. Plymyer of Centerville, VA; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gerard Lozeau of Pelham, NH, Paul and Martha Lozeau of Lowell, MA and Pete and Gloria Lozeau of Michigan; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Pare of Dracut, MA and Lucille and George Georges of Bradenton, FL; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. PELOQUIN Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua, Friday morning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Deacon John J. Martin, will officiate. Everyone is invited to gather at the cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, New England Affiliate, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
