John G. Butts Jr. of Wilmington, AGFA retiree; 71 WILMINGTON John G. Butts Jr., age 71, husband of Barbara A. (McElwain) Butts, died unexpectedly Tuesday, at the Winchester Hospital. He was born in Boston, March 27, 1937, son of the late John G. Butts Sr. and Neita (Gardner) Butts, and lived in Billerica before moving to Wilmington 25 years ago. Mr. Butts was employed as an Inspector for the AGFA Co. in Wilmington for 20 years prior to his retirement. Besides his wife, Mr. Butts is survived by his 2 dogs, Wrinkles and Willie; his son, Alan Butts and his wife, Kathy of Billerica; 2 daughters, Karen Crawford and her husband, Kris of Woburn, and Jackie Gauthier and her husband, Kevin of Nashua, NH; 2 sisters, Betty Cote of VA, and Elsie Klesaris of MD; his brother-in-law, Bob and his wife, Madeline McElwain of Billerica. Also survived by 7 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. BUTTS Of Wilmington, Sept. 16, John G. Butts Jr., husband of Barbara A. (McElwain) Butts. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 5 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
