Doris Ross Obituary

Doris M. Ross Retired clerk from MacLellan Concrete Co.; 82 TEWKSBURY Doris M. Ross, of Tewksbury, died peacefully at Blaire House Nursing Home, Sunday afternoon, September 21st. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Ross who died in 1991. Doris was born in Reading on June 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Frotten) Gadbois. She was raised in Reading, and moved to Tewksbury where she has lived since 1955. She worked as a clerk for MacLellan Oil Co. and MacLellan Concrete Co. She was well known communicant of St. William's Church. She was a member of St. William's Sodality and the Tewksbury Golden Age Club. Doris is survived by many nieces and nephews including her goddaughter, Gail Forrest of Westbrook, CT; two sisters, Helen LeBeau of Canterbury, CT, and Christine Kerkhof of Kissimmee, FL. She is the sister of the late Edward Gadbois. ROSS Doris M. Ross, age 82, died Sunday, Sept. 21. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Ross. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey St. corner of Main St., phone (978) 851-2950. Relatives and friends are welcome from 10 am to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. William's Church will follow. Burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
