Theodore Roosevelt Hardman, Jr. of Newton, NH; 68 NEWTON, NH Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Hardman, Jr., 68, of Newton, NH, died Tuesday evening, September 23, 2008, at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA. He was married to Mrs. Susan P. (Batch) Hardman with whom he would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on September 26, 2008. Born in Providence, RI, on March 1, 1940, the son of the late Theodore R. and Marjorie (Martin) Hardman. He was a graduate of Westford Academy with the class of 1958, and later attended Babson Midwest Institute in Kansas. He served with the U.S. Army Reserve. He was employed as a salesman with Chelmsford Newsweekly and Harper Brothers Printing in Billerica until his retirement. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and also enjoyed gardening. Besides his wife, he is survived by a niece, Elisabeth Batch of Arlington, MA; his mother and father-in-law, Lt. Colonel (Retired) Thomas and Lillian (Jasik) Batch of Hudson, NH; a brother, David R. Hardman of Dunstable; a brother-in-law, Thomas and his wife, Lynn Batch of Arlington, MA; two sisters-in-law, Irene D. Batch of El Cajon, CA, Jeanne M. Batch of Brownington, VT; as well as many cousins. He was the nephew of the late Joseph and Loretta Hardman of Chelmsford. HARDMAN Theodore R. Hardman, Jr., of Newton, NH, died September 23, 2008. Funeral Monday at 8 a.m. from the Funeral Home with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, N. Chelmsford. Burial in Central Cemetery, Dunstable.
