Frances Singleton Obituary

Frances W. Singleton formerly of Tyngsboro; 90 Auburn, NH Frances W. Singleton, age 90, of Auburn, NH passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Derry, NH. Born in Sorel, Quebec, Canada on May 9, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Georgianna (Lemoine) Sheppard. A former resident of Tyngsboro, MA, she had also spent 26 years living in Eustis, Fla. She was a former employee of Raytheon and attended First United Baptist Church in Lowell. She is survived by her daughter, Muriel Paris of Auburn, her granddaughter, Deborah Peck of Auburn, one great-granddaughter, one great-grandson, four great-great-grandchildren, four sisters, Annie Zielinski of Hernando, Fl., Beryl Sandelli of Dracut, Evelyn Makiej of Lowell, Charlotte DeMarco of Wilmington, one brother Charles Sheppard of Louisville, KY, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Berthram D. Singleton in 2005, as well as six brothers and one sister. SINGLETON Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Saturday October 4, 2008 at 3:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Recreation Fund, 8 Peabody Road, Derry, NH 03038. While I said my "Good Byes" to Wilma just before her passing, I will join Muriel and the rest of the family in keeping her alive in my hearts, as they are blessed to carry on her good works and spirit in her name, Good bless to all of you

Willa was a wonderful lady and I loved talking to and being able to help her many times. I will miss her a great deal. (I'm an LNA at Pleasant Valley.)
