Pauline Edmondson Obituary

Pauline E. Edmondson long-time resident of Dracut; 83 Dracut Pauline E. (Robert) Edmondson, 83, a long-time resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully Tuesday September 30th at her home. She was the widow of the late Sylvester Edmondson who died in 1980. Mrs. Edmondson was born in Lowell on October 23, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Blanche (Laforge) Robert. She was educated in Lowell schools and worked in accounts receivable for over thirty years until her retirement. She was associated with the Acacia Club of Dracut and loved sewing and interior design. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Joseph Robito of Dracut; two daughters Linda Jordan and her husband Kevin of Bristol, RI and Carol Lafontaine and her husband Pete of York Beach, ME; a grandson Scott Lafontaine and his wife Tricia; a granddaughter Stacy Snyder and her husband Kort; a great-grandson Tyler Lafontaine; two sisters Irene Tardiff and her husband Raymond of Dracut and Florence Rocheleau of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Wilfred, Francis, and Ernest Robert and her sister Theresa Dadoly. EDMONDSON Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 5 until 8 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 8 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 AM at Ste. Marguerite D'Youvillie Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Beacon Hospice, Inc, 350 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830. To the girls, so sorry to read, on line, that your Mom had passed away.
You may not remember us, Ginger and I, were your neighbors in the back, when we lived in dracut, for 16 years.
We left for colorado in 1979, stayed for 20 years and retired to the South Padre Island area of the rio Grande Valley.
Ginger and I remember a tight friendship with both your Mom and Dad. They were really good neighbors.
