Therese Gagnon Obituary

Therese V. Gagnon lifelong Dracut resident, GE retiree; 79 DRACUT Therese V. (Frechette) Gagnon, 79, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Wednesday, October 1st, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Gagnon Jr. who died on December 15, 2007. She was born in Dracut, on June 12, 1929, and was a daughter of the late Fortuna and Maryanne (Marcoux) Frechette. She received her education in Dracut schools. Prior to her retirement in 1989, Mrs. Gagnon was employed for many years as a mechanical assembler, first at RCA and then at GE in Burlington. Earlier in her career, she was employed as a cafeteria worker for the Dracut School Department before retiring in 1979. She communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church in Dracut, and she was a member of the VFW Walker Roger Post 662 Ladies Auxiliary and the Dracut Senior Citizens Council on Aging. She is survived by a son, Arthur J. Gagnon III and his wife, Paula of Hollis, NH; a daughter, Audrey White and her husband, Richard of Billerica; two sisters, Cecile Chouinard and her husband, George of Dracut, and Estelle Kisley and her husband, Steve of Ocala, FL; a brother, Roger Frechette of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Melissa White, and the sister of the late Roland Frechette. GAGNON Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, TODAY (Sunday) from 2 until 6 P.M. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 8 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 A.M. at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish at Ste. Therese Church, Dracut.
