Claire Evans Obituary

Claire E. Evans of Lowell, Tewksbury co. retiree; 78 LOWELL Claire E. (Reardon) Evans, 78, of Lowell, died Tuesday evening, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Evans who died January 24, 2004. Born in Lowell, October 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and the late Jeanne J. (Barry) Reardon, She attended St. Joseph's School in Lowell. Before retiring, Mrs. Evans was an Assembler for ECRM Electronics in Tewksbury for many years. Mrs. Evans is survived by two brothers, Thomas F. Reardon of Dracut, and Charles L. Reardon of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Mary Powley of Canada; a brother-in-law, William Evans, Jr. of Canada; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Carlton F. Wells of Lowell. She was also the sister of the late Jeanne Reardon, and the late Paul J. Reardon. EVANS In Lowell, October 7, 2008, at Saints Medical Center, Claire E. (Reardon) Evans of Lowell, wife of the late Donald C. Evans. Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 2 to 5 P.M. on Sunday. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Monday morning at 9 o'clock followed by a Funeral Mass at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH at 10 o'clock. Committal Services will be private. Those wishing may make contributions in her memory to Saints Medical Center, Medical Oncology, c/o Saints Foundation, 155 Merrimack St., P.O. Box 7075, Lowell, MA 01852-9928. I am so sorry on the lose of Claire, Everytime I went over to here house to visit with Mom & Paul, she was always very sweet to me. I will miss her. Now she is with her love Don and Paul. My deepest sympathy to you Charlie and the rest of the Reardon family

I havent seen my great aunt in years ...but i do have some really good memories with her and all the days after school when i would go over and sit in the rocking chairs with her and just talk forever... She really was a nice lady and at least she can be happy again with Uncle Don now! ..
