Frances J. Kirkpatrick

Frances J. Kirkpatrick of Lowell, IRS retiree; 67 LOWELL Frances J. Kirkpatrick, 67, of Lowell, and formerly of Tyngsboro, died Tuesday morning, at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Patrick F. and the late Anna G. (Kelley) Gill. She attended St. Patrick Grammar School, and was a graduate of Keith Hall in the Class of 1959. She later went on to attend U/Mass Lowell. Before retirement, she was a member of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Internal Revenue Service in the Andover Office for over 20 years. A person of many interests, Frances enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, and especially walking the beaches on the New Hampshire and Maine seacoasts. She also loved to travel overseas and visit with her family. Frances is survived by two sons, Sean G. Kirkpatrick and his wife, Kara of Georgetown, and Kenneth F. Kirkpatrick and his wife, Tami of Danvers; a granddaughter, Caroline G. Kirkpatrick of Georgetown; four sisters, Sister Patricia Gill, S.N.D. of Ipswich, Virginia "Mary" Maziarz of South Windsor, CT, Gertrude Brophy and her husband, Leonard of Dracut, and Margaret Latulippe and her husband, Ronald of Methuen; three brothers, William F. Gill of Nashua, NH, John T. Gill and his wife, Beverly of Hyannis, and Daniel P. Gill and his wife, Midge of Tewksbury; many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Arthur Kirkpatrick, sister of the late Barbara Monette and the late Patricia Gill (infant), and sister-in-law of the late Georgette (Michaud) Gill who died February 5, 2008, the late Stanley Maziarz, and the late Margaret (Gibson) Gill. Her Funeral will take place from the Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock followed by a Funeral Mass at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST in NORTH CHELMSFORD at 11:30 o'clock.
