Carolyn Fitzgerald Obituary

Carolyn Fitzgerald, Lowell native In CT. Hospice, October 29, 2008, Carolyn (Gilmore) Fitzgerald, 85, of Hamden. Wife of the late James F. Fitzgerald. Loving sister of Louise Burger of North Branford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister late Martha Fappiano. She was owner and Clinical Laboratory Director of Regan Clinical Laboratory, and retired from Quest Diagnostic Inc. Funeral from SISK BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 3105 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Friday (Today) from 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to CT. Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 or to American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave., PO Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.

It is with great sadness that we read of Carolyn's death. Carolyn and I go back many years as laboratory directors and have shared many wonderful times together. Our most recent visit at Lake Placid, NY where we reminisced is a lovely memory.

She will be missed by her family and friends.
