Rita L. Waters

Rita L. Waters of Nashua, retired nurse; 86 NASHUA, NH Rita Leola Waters, 86, died November 2, 2008, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH. She was born May 12, 1922 in Epping, NH, daughter of the late Ernest and Georgianna (St. Laurent) Belisle. Rita grew up in Epping and was a graduate of Epping High School. She later graduated from the Laconia School of Nursing. She began her career as an X-ray technician, and later became a nurse working for Waltham Hospital. She retired from Middlesex County Hospital, as a Chief Nursing Supervisor. She had lived several years in Nashua, NH, formerly of Epping, Laconia, Waltham, MA, and then Florida for 25 years. Rita was a former communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping, and a member of the Telephone Pioneers in Florida. She was predeceased by two husbands, Walter Rollo, who died in 1974, and Harry Waters, who died in 1981. Rita enjoyed many different activities. She is survived by her children and their partners, son, Richard Rollo and Cyndi Morse of Townsend, MA, daughter, Linda DeCecca of Nashua, NH, daughter, Janice Rollo and Bill Bovill of N. Chelmsford, MA, daughter, Luane and Jeff Smith of Nashua, NH, son, Michael and Pam Rollo of Manchester, NH; 10 grandchildren, Julie, Jennifer, Robbie, Brian, Jimmy, Justin, Anthony, Paul, Eric and Christopher, 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Couture of Florida, and Marcia Jean and companion, Sandy Ebinger of Florida; one nephew, John Langlois; and one niece, Donna Demers; and a loving aunt, Jean Morrissette. WATERS Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, 208 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. Father Agapit Jean will officiate.
