Joseph Marcouillier Obituary

Joseph R. 'Bob' Marcouillier of Westford, Army vet; 74 WESTFORD Mr. Joseph Robert "Bob" Marcouillier, age 74, of Westford, beloved husband of Rose (Behr) Marcouillier, died Friday, November 7, 2008, at his home in Westford, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lowell on November 16, 1933, son of the late William & Medora (Cantin) Marcouillier. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces in Europe from 1953 until his discharge in 1956. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by C.G.I. in Boston. Bob was a member of the VFW Walker-Rogers Post #662 in Lowell, the Nabnasset Lake Country Club in Westford, and the Franco-American Club in Westford. He was also an avid golfer and card player, especially pinochle. Besides his wife, Rose, with whom he would have celebrated 53-years of Marriage in February, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Ricky J. Marcouillier and his wife, Paula of Littleton, Steven R. Marcouillier and his wife, Tina of Westford; a daughter, Heidi R. Marcouillier of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren, Ryan Marcouillier and his wife, Kristani, Michelle Marcouillier, Joseph Marcouillier, James Marcouillier, and Carley Marcouillier; two sisters, Rita Whigham and her husband, James of Nashua, NH, and Ann Vellett of North Carolina; two brothers, Leonell Marcouillier and his wife, Barbara of Westford, and Larry Marcouillier of Delaware. MARCOUILLIER Joseph Robert "Bob" Marcouillier, age 74, husband of Rose (Behr) Marcouillier. Friends may call at the HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., WESTFORD, MA. on Sunday, November 9th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 10 at Saint Catherine's Church, 107 North Main St., Westford at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Catherine's Cemetery. Bob is one of the finest gentleman I have ever met. Although a time of sorrow, this time recants some of greatest memories of fun and golf and the 19th hole at Nab. I was fotunate to work with Ricky and Steven and some of His grand children and they are a true testament to the charactor, integrity and classiness that was Bob and Rose as well.
