Evelyn, Howie, Phil and Paul,
I think I spent as much time in your home as I did in my own on South Street in the 70's. You all and Chips were always accommodating and made me feel welcome; except for Howie's leggies.
I will never forget the belly laughs we shared while watching Smokey and the Bandit together with Chips as well as the many meals we shard that Evelyn prepared. Being put to work helping build the garage or cleaning the pool were not a burden for me however a recognition that I was accepted.
These are all good memories of my youth and my friendship has been growing with your family to this day, 36 years later.
The Bowers family offers our condolences during this difficult time.
