Ralph Logan Obituary

Ralph D. Logan of Lowell, retired machinist, Navy vet; 76 LOWELL Mr. Ralph D. Logan, formerly of North Chelmsford, died unexpectedly Friday, November 14, 2008, at Lowell General Hospital. Ralph was born in Nashua, NH, on January 10, 1932, the son of the late Douglas and Lois (Bradley) Logan Jr. He was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1949. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Ralph worked as a Machinist for many years before retiring in 1997 from C & M Screw Machine Products of Hudson, NH. He attended Congregational Church in North Chelmsford, MA. He was a member of American Legion A.W. Vinal Post 313 of North Chelmsford, MA, and the Tyngsboro Sportsman's Club; where he was State Champion as a Bait Caster. He also enjoyed billiards belonging to many pool leagues throughout the Greater Lowell Area. Ralph is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen and Earl Stuart of Yulee, FL, and Barbara Logan of Lowell, MA; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Elizabeth Logan of E. Walpole, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was the brother of the late Virginia Decarteret of Salem, NH who died August 3, 2008. LOGAN Mr. Ralph D. Logan, died Friday, November 14, 2008. Visiting hours Mon. 3 to 7 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 7 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD.
