Walter Easley Obituary

Walter Harold Easley of Nashua, Navy vet; 63 NASHUA, NH Walter Harold Easley, known as "Wally" to many of his friends, was born on April 22, 1945, and died on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, after a short, but brave fight against lung cancer. He has been a resident of Nashua, N.H. for 25 years. He worked at Control Data Institute, followed by Digital, Hewlitt Packard, and most recently at SDI. He is also a Navy Veteran. Walter was a loving father, devoted son, and a loyal friend. He was warm, generous and had a unique sense of humor. Those who knew him will deeply miss the person who often was the reason for brightening their days. He spent as much time as he could at the beach, with his friends and family and never missed the chance to awaken early to watch the sunrise. He touched many people throughout his life and he will continue to live on with us through our memories, hearts and spirits. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Easley/Tagley; son-in-law, Paul Tagley; mother, Ruth Easley, brother, and cousins who reside in KY. He will be the guardian angel to his grandchild who is due to arrive in December. Thank you for all of the well wishes and support from his coworkers, friends, and family, it is apparent how many lives he has touched and how much he will be missed. Words can not truly express the loss of such a good man. EASLEY Funeral Services will be held at the Byrn Funeral Home, 1020 Paris Rd., in Mayfield, KY on Sunday, November 23, 2008. (270-247-3592).
