John S. Chipchak

John S. Chipchak of Westford, worked at Hanscom Air Base; 84 WESTFORD John S. Chipchak, 84, beloved husband of Joan (Shickluna) Chipchak, died suddenly, November 19th, 2008, surrounded by his family. A resident of Westford for 39 years, he was born in Olean, N.Y., November 1st, 1924, a son of the late Stephen Chipchak and Joan (Shoen) Chipchak. He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo, Class of 1951. Prior to his retirement, he was an Engineer at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA. John enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, John C. Chipchak and his wife, Lisa of Chelmsford, David A. Chipchak and his wife, Jennifer of Nashua, N.H., and Peter G. Chipchak of Westford, five grandchildren, Christopher, Alexiah, Amber, Gregory, and Nicholas Chipchak; a brother, Daniel J. Chipchak and his wife, Rita of California; and two nieces, Donna Van Hooser of Texas, and Karen Escobar of California. CHIPCHAK Visiting hours at the HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 NORTH MAIN ST., WESTFORD on Sunday, November 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. His funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, November 24th at St. Catherine's Church, 107 North Main St. at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford.
