John J. Cardoza

John J. Cardoza of Tyngsboro, University of Lowell retiree; 83 TYNGSBORO Mr. John J. Cardoza, age 83, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro, died Friday evening, November 21, 2008 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lowell, MA, on November 23,1924, he was a son of the late Silvino and Georgiana (Martin) Cardoza. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed in the maintenance department for the University of Lowell. John was an avid harmonica player, a member of the Portuguese American Club, and a member of the St. Anthony Church Drum Corps. Surviving him are three sisters, Mary Dalton of Tyngsboro, Rosella Andrade of Lowell, and Theresa A. Sousa of Tyngsboro; a brother, Joseph Cardoza of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Eva Cardoza, Rita Coates, Paul Cardoza, and Leonel Cardoza. CARDOZA Mr. John J. Cardoza. It being his wishes, there will be no calling hours.
