Claire Kirane Tyngsboro, M.C. Registry of Deeds retiree;79 TYNGSBORO Mrs. Claire Kirane, of Tyngsboro, died Sunday morning, November 23, 2008, in Lowell, MA. She was married to the late Mr. William Kirane who died November 3, 1987. Claire was born in Lowell, MA on November 17, 1929, the daughter of the late John F. and Mildred (Pouliot) Burt. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1947. She retired in 1988 from the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds in Lowell, MA. Claire also worked at the University of Lowell South Campus's Cafeteria. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA, and previously at St. Patrick Church in Lowell, MA; where she was a member of the parish's Sodality Club. She was a member of the Acre Club Committee. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia and her husband, Paul Gauthier of Tyngsboro, and Susan Sullivan of Lowell, MA; a cousin, Marie Dumont of Dracut, MA; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Kirane of N. Chelmsford, MA. Claire is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Amy, Alison, and Andrea Gauthier, and Patrick and William Sullivan; as well as many nieces and nephews and several close friends. She was the mother of the late William Kirane of Lowell, MA who died April 1993. Claire was the mother-in-law to the late Lawrence Sullivan of Lowell, MA who died August 12, 2008, and was the sister to the late John and the late Raymond Burt.
