Robert Norman Obituary

Robert H. Norman of Billerica; 79 Billerica Robert H. Norman, age 79, husband of the late Barbara G. (Connors) Norman, died Sunday at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was born in Somerville, September 16, 1929, son of the late Ernest and Ada (Flux) Norman and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica 45 years ago. Mr. Norman served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years having worked as a Letter Carrier and a Supervisor. He was a former Billerica Town Meeting Member, past Master of the George Washington Masonic Lodge in Lexington and was a bartender at the former Willow Pond Kitchen in Concord. He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law Lawrence and Anne-Marie Norman of Billerica, Robert Norman of Billerica and Christopher Norman of Berlin, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Todd O'Neil of Chelmsford; one sister Eva Watts of FL; 12 grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew, Elizabeth, Daniel, Ashleigh, Connor and Heather Norman, Derek and Lyndsey O'Neil, William Knute, Charlie and Melissa Vessey and many nieces and nephews. He was also the father-in-law of the late Donna Norman. NORMAN Of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, November 23, Robert H. Norman husband of the late Barbara G. (Connors) Norman. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd, Billerica at 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30am. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 47pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billerica Scholarship Foundation, Billerica Town Hall, Treasurers Office, 365 Boston Rd., Billerica, MA. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Funeral Directors W.J. and Dean M. Laurendeau.
