Sheryl is greatly missed at the extended day program where her enthusiasm, creativity and love for the children was so appreciated by parents who participated. She was always helpful and friendly when I picked up morgan and had a winning smile that made the day better. She is such a loss!

I wish to express my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of the one whom I knew as "Mickey". We worked together at BSC. Those years were a very special and wonderful time because Sheryl was such a special and wonderful person who knew how to balance work and humor with those around her. May God Bless!

My deepest sympathy to the family of "Mickey". We worked together at Medi-Tech/BSC. We shared many laughs. What a wonderful sense of humor she had, how she loved her children so.

My stock today when I opened my daughters backpack to get her lunch menu, only to find the notice of Ms. Raffealo's passing. She was always so kind as I came rushing in trying to pick up my daughter before 6:00 at the extended day program. The children loved her, and she will be greatly missed by all at Swallow Union.

Friends and family of Mrs. Raffaelo: My boys loved Mrs. Raffaelo's cooking class and I loved the care and attention Sheryl gave them in Extended Day at Swallow Union. We also really appreciate her letting the boys come over with Megan from time to time to pick vegetables from your garden. Her wry wit and quick smile will be sorely missed at Swallow Union.

My sincere condolences to Sheryl's family and friends. I worked at Swallow Union until 2004, and I enjoyed daily encounters with Sheryl -- her wit and her dedication to the children and staff were an integral part of the SU community. Life is too short, but Sheryl made a difference.

Sheryl (Micky), you were a big part of my life, Medi-Tech and BSC. I am saddened by this and truly reminds me that life is short. We lived so close, but had such seperate lives.
I'll see you again, on the other side.

God bless you Sheryl and your family. I will never forget your kindness and your strength. You had such a sense of humor. I miss your smile and quick witt. My children loved that she likes to goof around. She was so good to all of the children. The halls at school are so hollow without her. I don't think she will ever know the impact that she has had on all of the children. My son said..."She lived a good life". That says it all.
