Rafael DelValle Obituary

Rafael DelValle former cook; 77 TEWKSBURY Rafael DelValle, age 77, died Wednesday evening, December 3, at the Tewksbury Hospital, following a long period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of the late Aida (Diaz) DelValle. He was born in Puerto Rico, August 30, 1931, and moved to New York in 1965. He resettled in Lowell in 1991. He worked as a cook in several New York City restaurants. He is survived by two step-daughters, Dorcas Adorno of Lawrence, Deborah Perez and her husband, Angel Perez of Lowell; a step-son, Luis Guzman and his wife, Magaly of Florida; a sister, Ana DelValle of Manati, P.R.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews including Vilma Dueno of P.R. DelVALLE of Tewksbury, Dec. 3, Rafael DelValle, age 77. Relatives and friends will be received Monday morning, Dec. 8, fom 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851-2950. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Tewksbury Hospital, Patient Fund, 365 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
