Marion DeGrande Obituary

Marion C. DeGrande was teacher's aide at Billerica school; 83 BILLERICA Marion C. (Twomey) DeGrande, age 83, wife of the late Domenic DeGrande, died Saturday, at the Lexington Health Care. She was born in Ireland, July 12, 1925, daughter of the late Cornelius and Rebecca (Young) Twomey. She lived in South Boston for many years, and also in Billerica, prior to her illness. She volunteered at the Life Care Center in Billerica, and as a Teacher's Aide at the Parker School. She is survived by her 2 sons, Joseph DeGrande and his wife, Mary of Stoughton, and Richard DeGrande and his wife Kathi of N. Reading; her sister, Sheila Csiszar of Hyde Park; 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Timothy, Ryan and Brooke DeGrande and her great-granddaughter, Madison DeGrande. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. DeGrande was the sister of the late Patrick and Jack Twomey, and Mary "Sis" Perella. DeGRANDE Of Billerica, Dec. 6, Marion C. (Twomey) DeGrande, wife of the late Domenic DeGrande. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Funeral Directors W.J. and Dean M. Laurendeau.

Joe, Rick and families...I was very sad to hear of Aunt Marion's passing. I know it's very hard to lose your mother, but I believe she is in a place where there is no suffering and only joy. With deepest sympathy and all my love, Cousin Ellen
