J. Morin Obituary

J. Arthur Morin was Lowell biscuit co. worker, WWII vet; 80 MANCHESTER, NH J. Arthur Morin, beloved husband of Sandra L. (Tabor) Morin, with whom he would have celebrated 30 years of marriage in April 2009, died Friday, December 5, 2008, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was 80. He was born in New Bedford, on April 14, 1928, a son of the late Joseph and Rose Alma (Duhamel) Morin. Arthur had lived in Lowell and Dracut prior to moving to Manchester, NH 29 years ago. Arthur was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Army. He had worked for many years in the shipping and receiving department at the former Educator Biscuit in Lowell. He enjoyed his family, gardening, sailing, fishing, and traveling, especially the cross country trips he took with his brother Paul, and restoring old jeeps. Surviving him besides his wife are a son and daughter in law, Dennis and Suzanne Morin of Groton; a stepson, Brian Barnes of Pembroke, Maine; a brother Paul Morin of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Kerrie Morin, Kristin Ruston, Amy Barnes, Jerika Barnes; and four great-grandchildren. MORIN Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday. Funeral prayers will be offered in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
