Aline M. Laurent

Aline M. Laurent Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother Lawrence Aline M. (Berard)Laurent, beloved wife of the late Albert Laurent, died Sunday December 7, 2008, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79. Born in Lowell on October 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jeanne (Carignan) Berard. Aline's greatest satisfaction in life was spending time with and taking care of her family. Even working at Lowell General Hospital could not stop her from taking summers off to be with her children. Survivors include her twelve children and their spouses, Denise and Paul Dion of Lawrence, Collette and Richard D'Amour of Pelham, Michelle Laurent and George Maillette of Lowell, Suzanne and Louis Brunelle of Sandwich, NH, Dianne and Roland Chandonnet of Dracut, Priscille Tuson and Kevin Shea of Chelmsford, Louis and Joselyn Laurent of Salem, NH, Jeanne and Richard Davis of Pelham, NH, Jacqueline and Michael Quinn of Lawrence, Marc and Laurie Laurent of Hollis, NH, David and Tammy Laurent of Dracut, Karen and Peter Blatus of Lawrence; eight siblings, Claire and Elphege Laurent of Lowell, Raymond and Pauline Berard of Dracut, Jeannette and Donald Bedard of Lowell, Theresa and Maurice Sawyer of Lowell, Andre and Sue Berard of Pelham, NH, Maurice Berard of Haverhill, Donald and Louise Berard of Dracut, Jean and Lois Berard of Nashua; twenty eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the grandmother of the late Jennifer D'Amour, Godmother of the late Lucille Dion, and sister of the late Emile Berard, Paul Berard, Yvette Champagne, and Robert Berard. LAURENT Relatives and friends may call at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth St, from 3 until 8pm on Wednesday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday in St. Margaret Church, 374 Stevens St, at 11am. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
