Grammy,
I have wished so many times over the the years for just one more chance to see you again. I'm sorry we never got that. I'm sorry you never got to meet my husband and three kids, and I'm sorry I never got the chance to tell you I love you just one more time.
I love you...
Rest in Peace, Grammy. Tell Pa we all love him.

Grammy,
I am really going to miss you. Your wonderful Thanksgiving dinners were the best. I'm glad that you got to try my red velvet cake and liked it. Now I have to get to work on the banana fritters! I'm so glad that you are finally reunited with Carl. Thank you for giving me my wonderful dad and uncles.

Mrs Chandler,
You will be greatly missed. I will never forget living across the street from you when I was little on Litchfield Ave and stealing the cherries from your drink!! It was always nice to visit with you.

Aunt,
One of the fondest memories I have as a child growing up is coming downstairs from my room during the holiday's and seeing the bunch of you around the table shooting the breeze and playing cards. Nevermind what happened if I lost. Rest in peace, we love you and will miss you.

Dearest Harriette, I don't know where to begin. I was thinking of you only three days ago. I enjoyed our many conversations and visits after finding each other again after so many years. You will be happy to know that my beautiful daughter Christine has found me after all these years as well. You were always a wonderful mother and grandmother. I remember the six boys always pranking and making everyone laugh.
I remember Jim calling you "Lady" and know how much that meant to you. You will be missed Harriette. I'm sure you will meet my mom again when you reach your heavenly destination. God Bless you Harriette. Sleep peacefully.
Love, Audrey

Goodby Ma. I will miss our many telephone conversations and your sage advice. I will miss what usually followed: "Well you know Dave.. " Thank you for passing on your long-lived genes to all of us boys and our kids and their kids. You will be glad to know that Julie has picked up your red velvet cake tradition and I will carry on the "chinese pie" tradition. I'll always remember you kicking the football over the roof of the house on Gorham Street with room to spare.
Your loving son.....Dave
