It was sad to see the news of the passing of John. He was a one of the real pioneers of organized labor in Lowell when unions fought for basic rights for the millworkers. The last time I saw him he still had the moxie for a good old fight in him to help the everyday person. We will miss John very much!
Your loving daughter, Pat xoxoxo

Grampa, I have many fond memories of you and gramma but the most vivid is when you would come breezing into our house on Martin Street singing the Apple Blossom song and I found it so comforting that you sang it one last time for me. You will be missed but it was time for you to join "mother".

You will always be part of some wonderful memories. My adopted grandfather, who looked after me and questioned me when I was here late. (My roomate as we use to say, and my biggest fan). Someone who genuinely watched over me and always complimented me that I kept "the ship afloat." I will never forget all the laughs and the conversations we shared. You were a big part of my life and I looked forward to seeing you each morning. I will miss you immensely, but I understand you had to leave, the pain was too much to bear. Just know that I will never forget you, and will still look for you each morning as I arrive at Chelmsford Crossings. Your legacy here will continue. I love you John.
