Jacinto Flores Obituary

Jacinto Flores of Lowell, Joan Fabrics retiree; 74 LOWELL Jacinto Flores, 74 years old, died Thursday evening, August 23, at Saints Medical Center. He was the husband of Ramona Rivera Flores, who survives him. He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on Aug. 13, 1933, the son of the late Nicolas and Josefa Flores. He came to the United States in 1968, settling in Lowell. He had been employed as a packer by Joan Fabrics for many years, and previously as a local farm worker. Surviving him besides his wife are six children, Aurea Flores, Aida DeJesus, Blanca Ortiz, Jacinto Flores, Jr., and Pablo Flores, all of Lowell, and Luz Maria Flores, of Springfield; a brother, Victor Flores. Among his 19 grandchildren are two special grandchildren, Lydia Flores and Joel Molina; also 31 great-grandchildren. FLORES Friends may call from 6 to 9 P.M. TONIGHT at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith St., (Rte. 38). His Funeral Service to be held on Monday, August 27th at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery.
