Audrey Harrison Obituary

Audrey E. Harrison of Wilmington, Commercial Bank retiree; 77 WILMINGTON Mrs. Audrey E. (Shaffer) Harrison, 77, of Wilmington, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Winchester Hospital. Audrey was the beloved wife of Edward D. Harrison Jr. Audrey was born in Somerville, Nov. 13, 1929, a daughter of the late Norman A. and Mary (Roberts) Shaffer. She grew up in Medford, and graduated from Medford High School. She married in 1949, and they moved to Wilmington in 1954 to raise their family. Prior to retiring in 1994, Audrey was the Operations Manager for the Commercial Bank and Trust Co., in Wilmington for more than 27 years. In her spare time, Audrey loved arts and crafts, gardening, needlepoint, puzzles, she was a beautiful seamstress, and she especially loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Besides her husband, Audrey is survived by her children, Edward D. Harrison III and his wife, Dolly and Maryjane Langone and her husband Joseph, all of Wilmington, John Harrison and his wife, Kathleen of Virginia, and Beth Hoehn and her husband, Richard of Methuen; her grandchildren, Kristen, Jaclyn, Edward D. IV, Michael, Joseph, Jennifer, Kristie, Kara, Erin, Paige, Richard, Jonathan, and Alex; a great-grandson, Justin; and her brothers, Robert Shaffer of Hanover, and Manfred Shaffer of California. HARRISON Audrey E. (Shaffer), 77, of Wilmington, unexpectedly August 25, 2007. Beloved wife of Edward D. Harrison, Jr. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 28th, at the Wilmington Congregational Church, 220 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday from 3-7 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington.
