Dearest Coll, Bud, Barney, Michael, Shawn, Marybeth and Joe:

I am so terribly sorry for your loss, and that I can't be with you. Please know that my thoughts and love are in Massachusetts.

Someone once said that the greatest tribute to someone who has died is not grief, but gratitude. And despite the fact that my heart is breaking, I am so very grateful that she was a part of my life. She was a gift.
