Cashia Katsoulas Obituary

Cashia "Kay" Katsoulas of Peabody, born in Lowell; 87 PEABODY Cashia "Kay" (Panageotopoulos) Katsoulas, died Tuesday, October 2,2007, at Beverly Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Charles Katsoulas. Born in Lowell Mass. on Dec. 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late George and Stamata (Katsiorhes) Panageotopoulos. Kay was educated at Dracut High School and later worked as a clerk for Royal Cleaners in Peabody. She was a member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody and the P.T.A. there. Cashia was a homemaker and enjoyed time spent with family and her loving grandchildren. Surviving her are her children; Sandra Corrigan and her husband James of Tyngsborough, and Peter C. Katsoulas and his wife Mary of Manchester by the sea. Also leaving her siblings, Georgia Shuster of Dracut, Aspesia Veves of Chelmsford, Kiriaki Glasheen of NY, Marie Panageotopoulos of Dracut, Charles Panageotopoulos, Nicholas and Louis Panas, all of Dracut. Her loving grandchildren; Amy and Sarah Corrigan and Seth Katsoulas; besides several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Stella Baliotis, Irene Panageotopoulos, James and Alex Panas. KATSOULAS Cashia "Kay". Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 am in St. Vasilios Church in Peabody. Visiting hours on Friday evening in the Mackey Funeral Home 22 Conant Street Danvers from 5-8 pm. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery Peabody. If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Vasilios Church, 5 Paleologos Street, Peabody MA 01960. Assisting the family is James G. Sampsonis Director.
