Germaine M. Soucy

Germaine M. (Lambert) Soucy longtime resident of Lowell; 83 LOWELL Germaine M. (Houle)(Lambert) Soucy, 83 years old, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Monday evening, October 15th, at D'Youville Senior Care, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Soucy, and the late Paul E. Lambert. She was born in Lawrence, on Nov. 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Ernest and Aline (Galarneau) Houle. She was a graduate St. Anne's High School, in Lawrence. Mrs. Soucy served on the Lord Manor Tenant's Council. Surviving her are two daughters and a son-in-law, Gabrielle Foss of Dracut; and Jeanne and Robert Higgins of Methuen; a son and daughter-in-law, Claude and Therese Lambert of Granby, MA; two stepsons, Roland J. Soucy of Franklin, NH; and Gerald R. and Eileen Soucy of Dracut; a brother, Rev. Andre Houle, OMI of Tewksbury; a stepbrother, Raymond Demers; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Bryan and Holly Foss, Melissa and Matthew Higgins, and Stephen Lambert; one great-granddaughter, Vanessa Charlotin; 10 step-grandchildren, Karen Weiler, Debra Bradley, Michael Soucy, Michelle, Sainola, Lisa Hannan, Scott Soucy, Stephen Soucy, David Soucy, Mark Soucy, and Pamela Hamel; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Gertrude Gregoire, and Robert Houle, and mother-in-law of the late Harvey C. Foss, and Maxine (McDonald) Soucy.
