Donald W. Davis Sr.

Donald W. Davis, Sr. served on Billerica town boards, Navy vet; 77 TEWKSBURY Donald W. Davis, Sr., age 77, husband of the late Mary E. (Barter) Davis, died Wednesday, at his home. He was born in Marblehead, Dec. 6, 1929, son of the late Roy M. and Alice (Howe) Davis. He had been a longtime Billerica resident until moving to Tewksbury. Mr. Davis had served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was the owner of the former Davis Flowers in Billerica, had been a Billerica Selectman and served on the Billerica School Committee, was past President of the International Association of Shrine Motor Corps, Past Captain of the Aleppo Motor Patrol and a member of the Thomas Talbot Lodge in Billerica. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America, and played in Skip's Cribbage League. He is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Stephen W. Davis of Tewksbury, Paul A. and Elaine Davis of Billerica, and Donald W. J. and Anna Davis of Lakeland, FL, and Kathy Davis of Billerica; one brother, Robert E. Davis of Amherst. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Richard Davis, and brother of the late Roy M. Davis Jr., and Eleanor C. Young. DAVIS Of Tewksbury, formerly of Billerica, Oct. 17, husband of the late Mary E, (Barter) Davis. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
