Frances Nemet Obituary

Frances D. Nemet of Westford, St. Catherine member; 71 WESTFORD Frances D. (Sleeper) Nemet, age 71, of Westford, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at her home in Westford. She was the widow of Richard J. Nemet. She was born in Cochituate, MA, on June 22, 1936, daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth (Berg) Sleeper. She attended Cochituate Elementary School, and graduated from Wayland High School. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Westford. She was a devoted mother of ten, and especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved children, and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Paul E. Gassett of Fayetteville, TN, Donna A. Gassett of Woonsocket, RI, Lynn A. Kimber-Cormier of Westford, Wendy L. Milette of Sebastian, FL, Richard L. Gassett of Mustang, OK, Frances D. Laliberte of Blackstone, MA, Michelle R. Lombardo, Wilmer E. Hause, and Patricia Hause, all of Woonsocket, RI; 26 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin W. Sleeper, a sister, Cecelia Starling; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Michael W. Gassett. NEMET Died in Westford, Oct. 17, Frances D. (Sleeper) Nemet, age 71, of Westford, widow of Richard J. Nemet. There will be no calling hours. Cremation took place Saturday. Relatives & Friends are invited to attend Her Funeral Mass on Wednesday at St. Catherine's Church in Westford at 11 AM. Interment to follow at St. Catherine Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, Donations in her memory may be made to the: Oncology & Hematology Dept. at Emerson Hospital133 O.R.N.A.C., Concord, MA 01742. FUNERAL DIRECTOR J.A.
