I will always remember back to when Johnny was a very little boy. The hours I spent with him while in his cast's always with a big smile on his face. Those days will always have a place in my heart. He was a very special boy and I am sure a very special man. I am truly sorry to hear that he has gone onto the next adventure.

I was saddened to hear about John. I met John when we worked together at Apollo Computer. He was always so upbeat and cheerful and just the type of person who you could never forget. I remember how he danced all night on his crutches at my wedding reception. He was such an inspiration. I have very fond memories of John and feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have met him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Johnny was a special man, his independence fostered by all of you, which aided him in his ability to be the wonderful man he became. I will always remember Johnny with his bologna and mayo sandwiches on our "picnics" on your picnic table in the backyard, and his infinite knowledge of baseball, and of course, his never ending smile. What great friends we were/are, from the age of 2 on up, how lucky I was to be part of his life. Johnny fought every obstacle in his life with great persistance...he will be greatly missed, may he rest in peace.
with love always,
your neighbor/friend Martha

Susan Steven and Cathy,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I fondly remember your son and brother Johnny. He was a great individual who accepted his challenges with a grace and determination which should be the envy of us all. I will remember him always with a smile hopefully a bright as his. His inspiration was one of many which has lead me in my life to where I am as an educator. May God bless each of you and remember that John is in a place of power now!
