Anthony Cocozziello Obituary

Anthony M. 'Coco' Cocozziello formerly of Lowell, Korean War vet; 76 NORTH PORT, FL Anthony M. "Coco" Cocozziello, 76, formerly of Reading, MA, beloved husband of Roberta (Hadley) Cocozziello, died Thursday, October 18, 2007, at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida, after a brief illness. He was born in Brighton, MA, on June 28, 1931, the son of the late Caesar and Rosa (DiCarlo) Cocozziello. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also employed for over 40 years by Raytheon Co., as an Environmental Technician in Waltham, and South Lowell until his retirement in November 1992 to Florida to continue pursuing his love of fishing, and golfing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Dana M. Cocozziello and his wife, Therese of Tyngsborough, Dean M. Cocozziello and his wife, Deborah of Hudson, N.H., Daniel M. Cocozziello and his wife, Brenda of Dracut; along with two daughters, Donna M. Ogonowski and her husband, Ted of Dracut, and Denise M. Taylor and her husband, Michael of Pelham, N.H. Also surviving him are two stepsons, George F. and Steven R. Soule of Groton, CT; his former wife, Patricia D.M. Cocozziello of Pelham, N.H., and 10 grandchildren; along with his many fishing friends. He is also survived by two sisters, Marie Dunn and Theresa Krupwich. He was also the brother of the late Ernest Cocozziello, Carmela (Millie) Hamond, and Mary Brown. COCOZZIELLO Anthony M., 76, Oct. 18. A Memorial Service will be held on Thurs., Nov. 15th from 5 7 P.M. in the Chapel at James A. McKee Funeral Home, 14538 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL. Followed by his burial on Fri., Nov. 16th at the Bay Pines National Cemetery in Bay Pines, FL, at 1 PM. Donations in memory of Anthony Cocozziello may be made in lieu of flowers to Race Point Lighthouse, P.O. Box 570, North Truro, MA 02652.
