Florence M. Sousa Sacred Heart Parishioner LOWELL Florence Mary Sousa, beloved mother of Heather M. Sousa, died Sunday morning, November 18, 2007 at the Beverly Hospital. She was 57 years old. Florence was born in Lowell on October 14, 1950, a daughter of the late Florence (Fratus) Sousa. She was a life long resident of Lowell and a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church on Moore Street. Florence enjoyed crocheting, building puzzles and she loved cats. Surviving Florence in addition to her daughter Heather M. Sousa of Lowell are three brothers, Charles Sousa and his wife Mary Beardsley of Norwood, Manuel Sousa and his wife Joyce of Dracut, and Robert Sousa and his wife Doris of Lowell; two sisters, Frances Murphy of Lowell and Emily Foster and her husband Raymond of Lowell. Florence is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. SOUSA of Lowell, Florence Mary.
